Why study with us...

Students playing guitar

You will learn from experienced lecturers, who have worked independently within the creative industries to help you develop and refine your creative and technical skills. As well as college study, students will benefit from our strong links with local venues, gaining hands-on experiences, being involved in gigs, recording and production based on real events.

Every year, our music and sound production students have written, recorded and produced a Christmas single to raise funds for charity.

Student Case Study

Students playing piano recorded by film making student

My studies have helped my career progression in that I know have qualifications in the field I am interested in and have gained lots of knowledge that will be helpful for the future. I had more experience than most going into it, but it really highlighted the things I had missed when learning on my own. That is also what I would say to prospective students, whether you think you know what you’re doing with music production and record etc, or you know you don’t, you will learn stuff and have a fun time." Jerome Hall - HNC Sound Production
