Coronavirus Updates for students, staff and visitors

"We believe our students are the most important people in our college."

That's why we have a Student Support team who are here to help you throughout your studies.

We provide a full range of support services, including guidance, financial advice and additional support for learning, so that all you need to be concerned with is studying and enjoying your time with us.

Once you’ve accepted your offer of a place on your chosen course, you will be invited to attend a course induction programme, which will provide you with important information, guidance and support as you prepare for your study adventure.

Our excellent guidance and student support services offer academic, funding and additional support, so please get in touch if you need their input.

Your course tutor will be your first point of contact if you have problems with any aspect of your course.  You can also call along to our Student Support Team located in room T1.07 and T1.09. The Learner Support Manager, Anna Swanson and her team are available to speak to you in confidence if you have any problems you’d like advice or information on.

We can also help you with study skills and revision techniques, and we can provide readers, scribes and assistive technology if you need additional support.

The measures introduced in Scotland to reduce the spread of Covid 19 is based around the need for us all to socially distance ourselves or in some cases to self-isolate.  You can find more information here if you are unsure what this means: https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus

During these exceptional times charities and support agencies are still out there and can take your calls or answer your emails if you contact them.  Listed below are some links to the support pages of organisations who work with:

  • care experienced young people
  • carers
  • individuals who are estranged from their parents
