We want to make sure that when you are a student you have access to information and advice to support your health and wellbeing. Enrolled students can access details about events, workshops and additonal support in the Student Induction and Links2Life brightspace and details of sources of support can be found in the links below.

With the cost of living rising rapidly each year, it is important to manage your finances effectively. What can you pick up from your campus? See posters on your campus about free breakfasts and lunches.


A free self serve tea/toast breakfast is available in the downstairs kitchen in Tern House and the kitchen in Ballachraggan.

We plan to have soup available at lunchtime for students and staff soon.

Sharing sheds

Sharing sheds and community larders are community run and redistribute surplus food to reduce food waste, the aim of these projects is to share rather than waste food.  Look for sharing sheds in your area, details for some are below;

Keep an eye out for "help yourself shelfs" around our campuses where you can drop off or pick up toiletries.

Free sanitary products are available in many of our toilets.  Please ask a member of staff if you have any questions or trouble accessing them.

Outbreaks of Meningitis in student populations receive a great deal of publicity and the disease causes great fear as a result. Under new Government Policy all students entering University for the first time should have been offered immunisation against Meningitis C. Students are advised to contact their local GP to arrange immunisation.
