Stagecoach- Trainee Bus Drivers
Stagecoach are actively trying to recruit trainee bus drivers. Stagecaoch are offering full paid training to become a bus driver and offer the right amount of flexibility for someone studying at University and work around their already busy lives. Be it part time, evening weekends, more hours in/out of season depending on the individual students needs.
One of the bonuses we are also able to offer is that this qualification is an actual trade and the student will be able to take this with them wherever they move on to and in most cases, there will be a Stagecoach depot near them if they wish to continue to work for us.

The Saltire Awards are a nationally recognised award system endorsed by the Scottish Government. Its aim is to encourage young people to get involved in volunteering in their local community and to enhance personal development. The Saltire Awards are open to young people aged 12-25.
They can register online or by submitting a registration form to the supporting tutor within the College. The procedure is very simple, all that is required of the young person is to keep a log of the number of their volunteering hours and have their hours verified by the supporting adult.
They can ‘request a certificate’ online when they have achieved the required level [of hours]: Levels are:
- The Approach - 10 & 25 hours
- The Ascent - 50, 100, 200 & 500 hours
- The Summit is for volunteering above & beyond expectations
