SVQ Assessor - Care & Creative Arts
|Salary range||£24,403 per annum (pro-rata)|
|Duration||This is a temporary part-time post until March 2021.|
|Working hours||10 hours per week.|
|Closing Date||5pm Monday 13th April 2020|
North Highland College are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic, forward thinking and highly motivated individuals to enhance and complement the profile of our SVQ Team.
The successful applicants will have the required background in adult care services to allow for the delivery of various programmes at SVQ level 2-4 within Sutherland and Ross-shire. Ideally, you will possess the Assessor Award and have previous assessing experience up to and including SVQ level 4 or equivalent, however full training can be provided if you have appropriate previous experience working within the care sector. You would be expected achieve the Assessor Award within a year of your contract starting.
You must be able to demonstrate highly developed communication skills in order work along with the current SVQ team members and communicate effectively with candidates. You must possess IT skills appropriate to supporting colleagues and candidates at a distance using online portfolios.
The hours will be agreed with the successful applicants and the contracts awarded will be dependent on the qualifications level of the successful applicants. Flexible working arrangements to meet the needs of the SVQ candidates will be considered and you will be required to travel to meet candidates within their place of work.
