UHI Centre for Golf open for members and bookings

The Centre for Golf, based at UHI North Highland’s Dornoch campus is now open and invites golfers and golf enthusiasts looking to improve their game or swing to become members.

PGA Professional, Lesley Mackay demonstrates the trackman swing analysis and simulator, zen Greenstage moveable surface and PuttView putting system which is available on bay 3.

The centre opened in 2020 and has been primarily used by Professional Golf and Golf Management degree students and boasts some of the most advanced golf technology available.  

Alan Fleming, Curriculum Leader for Golf said, “We are delighted to be able to open the UHI Centre for Golf for public use and membership. The centre provides world-class practice and simulator facilities in addition to the world-class golf courses in the area. 

The centre will be staffed by students of our golf curriculum who use the facilities while studying here on campus. They will be on-site to ensure customers get the most out of the equipment and make sure they have the data and experience they want.” 

There are three bays available for booking from Monday to Thursday, between 5 pm and 9 pm which include:

  • SAM Puttlab
  • Trackman swing analysis and simulator studios
  • GASP camera and pressure plate systems  
  • GCQuad Bay 
  • Zen Greenstage 
  • PuttView training
