PC Passport

What is special about this course?

Our PC Passport flexible study course will give you the understanding and knowledge to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint effectively and with confidence.  

This course is delivered fully online with tutor support available via email, phone, VC and in person depending on your requirements.

Entry requirements

You will have a basic understanding of Microsoft packages and will be looking to use them more effectively.

PC Passport includes two units at SCQF level 5:

  • Spreadsheets and Databases
  • Word Processing and Presenting Information

You can choose to study one or both units depending on your current knowledge of the programmes.

Where can I study my course?

      Please note, UHI North Highland will be changing its name to UHI North, West and Hebrides in August 2023, subject to Scottish Government approval. This will not impact on your choice of course or how and where you will study.

    Each unit costs £88. UHI North Highland offer a payment plan where the cost can be paid up over the duration of the course.

    What can I do on completion of my course?

    Once completed, you may wish to progress onto our PDA Information Technology in Business or NC Business.
