What is special about this course?

We have developed a new Cyber Computing course which includes cyber security, data science, ethical hacking, professional computer fundamentals, a Higher in Computing Science and key employability skills to help meet the current skills gap in cyber trained IT professionals.

Breaches in data and cyber security is one of the most topical and scrutinised risks to organisations and with the introduction of the GDPR legislation, it is now one of the most critical business issues.

Entry requirements

  • Four National 4 qualifications or equivalent
  • Evidence of core skills at SCQF level 4 in communications, numeracy and ICT

Adult returners who do not meet the entry requirements may have to complete an assessment to demonstrate communication, numeracy and IT ability at a level 4.

  • PC Passport Spreadsheets and Databases
  • PC Passport Word Processing and Presenting Information
  • Numeracy
