What is special about this course?

The National Progression Award is made up of three core units and aims to raise awareness of cyber security to assist in filling the current skills gap in this field. Learners will improve their cyber hygiene and be able to identify security weakness safely, legally and ethically and contribute more safely to virtual communities.

Entry requirements

  • Evidence of core skills at a level 4 in communications, numeracy and ICT.
  • Adult returners who do not meet the entry requirements above will complete an adult returner assessment to demonstrate evidence of communication, numeracy and IT ability at a level 4.
